SoKy Local Business or "SoKybiz"

There is a book that I have recommended hundreds of times to small business owners and those who want to. The book is "E-Myth Revisited" by Michael Gerber. I was disusing effective entrepreneurship with a new client of mine and recommended the book once again. Since I have used up, misplaced or otherwise lost my copy of E-Myth, I logged onto Amazon to order a new one.

As I searched for "E-Myth Revisited," I was reminded of the 2004 book by Gerber titled, "E-Myth Mastery, What Every Successful Entrepreneur Does." Since I loved the first one, I decided to buy the hard cover and just received it today.

My read list is growing!!! Even in this order I received E-Myth Mastery, 2 copies of E-Myth Revisited, The World Almanac 2007, and the Small Business Book of Lists. Still on my "need to read" shelf is Never Eat Alone, Bag the Elephant and The 33 Ruthless Rules of Local Advertising.

So how does a busy business owner, web developer and consultant find to time to do all this reading? Admittedly, he hasn't; but he will!! Even if just one chapter a day, I will get through these books soon and post my impressions.

I will start reading E-Myth Mastery 1st because of an existing effort to acquire a new business and innovate it as well as my existing ones. It's part of my effort to develop a strong formula for exploring, managing, operating and profiting from my own companies.
